  Question: Why does Microsoft Access 2003 keep warning me about unsafe expressions?

Answer: In Access 2003, the "sandbox" mode is enabled to block potentially unsafe functions and object references in expressions. To avoid the message, you can either add a digital certificate or turn off the sandbox mode using the steps below.

1. Open Microsoft Access 2003.

2. On the Tools menu, point to Macro and click on the Security option.

3. On the Security Level tab, select Low, then click OK.

4. Click Yes on the confirmation screen that follows.

5. Exit Microsoft Access 2003.
